Select a negative perception you have of yourself regarding your career skills, and then answers the following questions about it.

How do I describe myself on this quality?

When were my first thoughts that I am this way?

What messages did I receive about this quality?

What are the outcomes of having this perception?

How would I like to be in the future on this quality?

How would I think if I had this new perception of myself?

How would I act if I had this new perception of myself?

One of the best ways to change a negative self perception is to do things that are slightly outside of our comfort zone, and then take a slightly bigger step following each success. As you continue this process, the negative perception willl eventually fade away, and a new and more positive perception will develop. List some small steps you can take to change the negative perception of yourself you have analyzed above. Then take one small step each day for a week and record what happens in your journal.
